As you can see, it is surrounded on three sides by the national military park, and if it weren't already protected privately it would probably have been turned into national park. There's a three mile loop road that tours the property, meaning through and by woodlands, geological features, fields, ponds, Lookout Creek, and horse pastures. There are many neat little things to see along the way, many of them historical. It's best by bicycle, but you can also tour it by car taking lots and lots of stops along the way or on foot. At the southern edge of the property is a trail head for a trail that goes into the military park to Skyuka Spring; that's four miles round trip.
It's a low-key attraction, mostly for school groups, but I think well worth a visit.
